Five years of entrepreneurship, from idea to scale: 12 cities, 600+ drivers and 20,000 users. With my co-founder Alexis, we led the strategy, the business model, the partnerships (SNCF, Keolis) and the team. I built and managed the tech team to design a platform based on a microservices architecture, public and private APIs, web platforms and native mobile apps.

Responsibilities

  • Company creation and management, budget, funding
  • Hired, trained and managed the tech team (5 people) and the communication and marketing team (2 people)
  • Defined the vision and strategy of the company and its products, optimised business processes
  • Managed products, innovation and key mobility and transport partners (SNCF, Keolis)
  • Chose the SaaS tools and external APIs: Stripe, Zendesk, Pipedrive, Twilio, Google APIs, Mapbox, Firebase, Slack, Mailchimp, Mandrill, Zapier
  • Set up reports, dashboards, analytics, KPIs and infrastructure and application monitoring tools
  • Agile Scrum project management as Product Owner and Scrum Master: persona needs gathering, product backlog and trade-offs
  • Defined the application architecture: microservice split and design down to the data model, service communication, technology choices
  • Quality and industrialisation: TDD, test coverage, automated review, pair programming, continuous integration and delivery (Codeship, Code Climate, Jenkins, New Relic)
  • API design, documentation and testing (Apiary, Postman), business and technical support for partners integrating the API, dedicated sandbox environment
  • Competitive, business and technology watch
